Henchman Controls
Why not? If we cant have seven heroes in our parties, would it not make sense to do this instead, to help out the people that flat out refuse to party even if they can get 2 humans and 6 heroes?
It could work a little something like pet controls.
Keep our 4 main flags on the compass, the individual hero flags and whole group flag
However, I would love to see a little number or something, like pet controls, next to the henchmen's names. It wouldnt have to be a complex system, skill controls and a flag for each hench in their box would be more than plenty to make me a very happy customer. For example, I could lock Alesia's restore life so she heals instead of res's in the middle of the fight, or flag her when she tries to play tank, without having to move the entire group and stop the fight, just to move one hench out of harms way. Other uses? How about setting up the rit henches spirits before aggroing? Seems like a smart thing to add to me.
I can agree that 7 heros may be a tad over powered, but could this be? No. You still wouldnt be able to change the henches skills, equipment, runes, anything.
Is this really needed? Not really. Ive never had a problem completeing areas with my 3 heroes and the current hench system, but it would be a good alternative to look into since there has been nothing but "Give us 7 heroes or I wont buy GW2 A-net you suckzorz" crap all over the forums since the first person beat NF. This would give those people a little more control over the party, without upsetting the "balance" of the game. And I still say eight people managing their own bars will be more effective than one person micromanaging eight bars any day.
